Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is National Mission launched in August 2014, for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely, a basic savings & deposit accounts, remittance, credit, insurance, pension in an affordable manner.
Bank is implementing this scheme effectively and under this scheme, a basic savings bank deposit (BSBD) account can be opened in any of our bank branch or at our Business Correspondent (Bank Mitra) outlet, by persons not having any other account.
Bank is offering Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), which is a social security scheme that offers one-year accidental death and disability cover, that can be renewed yearly.
Bank has tied up with United India Insurance Company (UIIC) for providing accidental insurance to enrolled customers of the Bank.
Bank is extensively implementing this scheme for weaker sections, under privileged and low income groups.
From the inception of scheme Bank has enrolled a total of 5,74,045 customers and is trying to cover all the eligible customers of the Bank.
Our Honourable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi in the FY 2015-16 launched Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyothi Bima Yojana (PMSBY), targeting poor, weaker sections, under privileged and low income groups.
The scheme benefits the above sections with a life insurance cover of one-year which will be renewed yearly.
For implementing this scheme, Bank has tied up with India First Life Insurance Company (IFLIC) which will provide life insurance coverage of Rs.2 lakhs in case of death of the enrolled customers of the Bank.

The APY was launched by Honorable Prime Minister of India on 09th May, 2015 with a view to provide Pension to all the eligible citizens of the India.
Under the APY, the subscribers would receive a minimum guaranteed pension of Rs. 1000 to Rs. 5000 per month at the age of 60 years, depending on their contributions, which itself would vary on the age of joining the APY.
Bank has mobilised a total of 66,836 customers of the Bank till 31.03.2021 from the inception of the scheme.
Bank is participating in all the campaigns launched by PFRDA and in respect of cumulative average performance under APY, our RRB stood FIRST among RRBs in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States for the last Six years. Our Bank stood SECOND among RRBs in South India for the FY 2020-21.
Our Bank has received ‘ACHIEVER AWARD’ for surpassing the APY target given by PFRDA during FY 2020-21. It is to mention that the bank posted a figure of 72 APY enrolments per branch as against the PFRDA assigned target of 60 per branch leading to the said award.
As per DFS guidelines each Bank need to open Aadhaar enrollment and update centres at branch premises @ 10% of total net work of the bank branches.
Accordingly, we Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank bearing EA number 2739 working under the Registrar [e-Andhra Bank (623), Now Union Bank of India (656)], has opened 22 Aadhaar enrolment Centres (AECs) in our branches.
Our Sponsor Bank has entered into MoU with M/s Virinchi Limited for taking up enrollment as well as updation activity in the Branches.
Bank has started enrollment process from Feb 2018 and till 31.03.2021 total Aadhaar enrolments & updates are 2,21,733. The avg. monthly Aadhaar enrolments & updates/centre for FY 2020-21 stood at 389.
Abiding the Unique identification Authority of India (UIDAI) guidelines, all our 22 Aadhaar enrolment Centres (AECs) are performing enrolment and updation activities to the customers fairly.

Bank has set up a Mobile Demonstration Van for three districts Guntur, East Godavari and West Godavari supported by NABARD under FIF.
The Mobile Van is available with an ATM installed in it and the Mobile Van covers specified areas as per pre-scheduled route map. Through this Mobile Van both our customers and other bank customers can withdraw amounts similarly from an ordinary ATM and generate receipts.
Customers can perform Balance Enquiry, Mini-statement, Pin Change, etc., options in the Mobile Van.
