KYC Norms

Reserve Bank of India has advised banks to make the Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures mandatory while opening and operating the accounts. This is in the interest of customers to keep safe their hard earned money and their reputation.

Officially Valid Documents (OVD) for KYC are :

Passport
Driving licence
Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card
Voter`s Identity Card issued by the Election Commission of India
Job card issued by NREGA duly signed by an officer of the State Government
Aadhaar Card or Letter issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India containing details of name, address and Aadhaar number.
