Financial Inclusion

“Financial Inclusion is the process of ensuring access to appropriate financial products and services needed by all sections of the society in general and vulnerable groups such as weaker sections and low income groups in particular at an affordable cost in a fair and transparent manner by mainstream institutional players”. The target groups are women, marginal farmers, urban slum dwellers, socially excluded groups...etc.

An integrated approach to delivery of Banking, Insurance and Pension Services through Branches and Business Correspondents to each household and members of 3020 villages and also through 189 SSAs allotted to bank. Bank also aims to provide BC Services in non SSA areas rural areas and provide basic banking services from Branches and Bank Mitras.

The agenda set for the bank under the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 is never lost sight of and the bank continues to provide banking services such as micro credit, RuPay card, Aadhaar based services, financial literacy, and empowerment of women, Direct Benefit Transfer, Insurance & pension services etc., to the neglected and disadvantaged sections of the society in the rural hinterland in its area of operation.

The operational area of the bank is spread across Guntur, East Godavari and West Godavari districts with total of 3020 villages in 163 mandals.
